I fell in love with instructional design before I even knew it was called instruction design. I've been designing and developing trainings for a diverse group of learners for over twenty-five years. As technology has evolved in the past ten years or so, I've found pleasure in incorporating diverse software methods into my training initiatives.
Through the Applied Instructional Design Academy, I've acquired methods to enhance my skills in this field. My expertise includes analyzing learner gaps, designing documents to give an overview of the training, creating eLearning prototype storyboards, and developing eLearning modules using Articulate Rise and Storyline. My experience and skills can assist your company in reaching its objectives through successful attainment of learning outcomes.
Possessing a robust professional ethos, I exhibit keen attention to detail, impeccable organizational skills, and derive satisfaction from cooperative efforts aimed at shared learning objectives. These attributes qualify me as a proficient instructional designer.
On another note, I am an avid reader, reading historical fiction, fantasy, dystopian, mystery, and horror any chance I get. I also enjoy traveling. Greece and Africa are on my bucket list!
I would love the chance to assist your business close learning gaps by increasing productivity and work engagement.
Through the Applied Instructional Design Academy (AIDA), I earned an Instructional Design Credential by completing a 9-month program that included over 80 lessons. I received extensive coaching and completed a rigorous set of learning activities with practice, extensive feedback, multiple revisions, and the completion of simulated client projects. The AIDA program teaches real-world, applied ID and eLearning Development.
